The Brown and Hurley Group are looking for:

  • Qualified auto electricians with DAF and/or Kenworth experience
  • All other qualified auto electricians looking for a change or to upskill

Our qualified auto electricians:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and repair and install electrical components
  • Take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, works safely and are self-motivated, hardworking, team orientated and have good communication skills
  • Have a HR and forklift licence (preferred)

  • Diagnose electrical faults/issues
  • Carry out general servicing and repairs
  • Install and repair air conditioning systems
  • Electrical wiring and circuits
  • Component testing and overhauling
  • Pre-delivery installation and preparation 
  • Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure company and personal tools are looked after and well maintained
  • Ensure work is completed on time and correctly
  • Train apprentices and colleagues 
  • Complete job cards for completed work
  • Participate in an on call/breakdown roster when required
  • Ensure all work carried out is checked by your foreperson or QA
  • Perform all duties safely 
  • Attend training courses when requested
  • Any other duties as directed by your Manager
